The food at this restaurant is extremely subpar. The place seem to lack an understanding of authentic Indian cuisine, especially with dishes like paneer tikka, pav bhaji, chaat etc. Everything we ate was a major letdown, nowhere close to what Indian food tastes like.

The restaurant appears to prioritize quantity over quality, serving large portions that fail to compensate for poorly prepared food. I went with my parents, who were hoping for a good Indian meal, but we ended up throwing most of it away. When we voiced our concerns, we were simply told, "This is how we cook here and provided a credit which we never are going to use.

Additionally, there's no such thing as service here, everything needs to be collected from the desk and taken at the table. It's basically you pay for your own food and self service.

If you’re looking for genuine Indian flavors and pastries I’d suggest dining elsewhere.

I ordered dessert cups & cakes for 2 baby showers - the presentation & the taste was phenomenal. Pricing was reasonable too. Guests enjoyed the desserts & cake a lot and kept asking where we got them from … will definitely be ordering from here for next events.

Excellent vada pav (esp. the crispy pav and green and tamarind chutneys), amazing crispy gobi manchurian, incredible crispy crust on the veg pizza (which had green and black olives and other delicious veggies), and good rasmalai eggless cake and mango lassi.

The dahi puri had a little too much tamarind chutney but was still very good!

The dahi puri was delicious, with flavors and a perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy. The crispy puris filled with yogurt, topped with sev and pomegranate seeds was so good.Truly a delightful treat!

Tavafry has been my favorite snack and cake/pastry store since the business opened up.
However, I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in the lack of transparency when you order a birthday cake and you are cheated of the size and charged for the amount which is not delivered.

I have contacted the person in charge of the matter but no response, at this point I have only two solutions on my hand, to post everything online for consumers to see on social media and also report this to the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia Consumer Protection Section. I am wondering if these normal business practices are widely used at your business to cut corners and cheat customers.

Didn’t like the taste of the food ordered.
The quality was top notch though.
Service was ok, atmosphere was good.

Food ordered:
1. Peri peri chicken - tastes nothing like peri peri. Portion size was good!

2. Chicken Tikka Masala - taste was bland, low salt - but had rich creamy gravy and good portion size

3. Mango Lassi - Good! Standard size cup

4. Garlic Naan - fresh and good size. Highly recommended

5. Waffle Fries - good portion (had smell of the oil - must’ve been reused)

The food here is just okay but offer good quantities. Giving it minus one star due to their excessive use of throwaway plastics.

If your craving to eat some Chats or Pav Bhaji this has to one of the places to go. I tried eating in the Herndon location and was not satisfied with it. But the Ashburn location servers really good food. For the price they have on the menu and the quantity they give is really good and more than sufficient. We mistakenly ordered 3 items Pav Bhaji , Ragada patice and Sandwich. It was enough for us to have it for 2 days ? . So be prepared to get a lot in quantity. With good quantity, we liked all the dishes. Didn’t have any complaints. I am surely gonna visit regularly and try some new dishes.
