Dr. Benzoni is the best and she has the most caring staff. I’ve been with her practice for many years. I have seen her for normal visits and for multiple eye injuries. I have never been disappointed with the care I have received there. I even take my kids to her now.

The BEST! Dr.Modesto was able to diagnose my eye issue when 2 other specialists couldn’t. Now I’m in prism lenses and ALL my eye issues are gone. Susan in optical is great as well. 10/10 recommend to anyone.

This was my first visit to Merrick Family Eye Care. I had been going to another optometrist for a number of years and wasn't very happy with the service I was receiving. The office staff was welcoming and helpful from the first phone call. Dr. Benzoni explained each step of the eye exam I was given and listened to my concerns. She offered me several options for my is one of the most caring, attentive, and patient doctors I've ever been to. She took the time to listen to my concerns attentively, and took the time to explain all available options for contact lenses.

I absolutely recommend Dr. Benzoni to anyone looking for a doctor who will treat you like family.

We saw Dr. Modesto today with my 6 year old daughter who is Autistic. Dr. Modesto was so kind and patient with her. My daughter was having a bit of a hard time and she was so caring and accommodating to us. She spoke very gently and softly to her and used finger puppets to keep her engaged. 10/10 I would recommend this practice to anyone.

I have been going to Dr Benzoni since she was working in Queens and when my children were too young to see an eye doctor. She is very warn and caring person. She thorough and I have relayed on her for emergencies with my two children. She is great with young children and kids approaching their teen years. Very friendly and explains everything to them and myself. Her staff is always helpful and caring as well.
