From the moment I walked into Angie’s studio, I knew that I would find my next piece here. The full sensorial experience is so calming and welcoming, which makes the jewelry even more stunning. I love that her designs are unique to her and her heritage and inspiration. She also showed me her design process, including sketches, wax, and more. I made an appointment to look at rings, but Angie was wearing the Amanti Chain Link Necklace, so I may have to add that to my collection next time!

I met Angie at the Open Studio in Dumbo this year and found out she is my neighbor on the same floor. I asked her for a favor to repair my Japanese silver moth pin. A mobile enamel-inserted wing was chipped and one of the legs was twisted out of place. The results are incredible and out of expectations. I want to thank her for her generosity in stepping out of her territory and repairing this art piece.

If you’d like someone who regularly communicates with you, has a pleasant and straightforward demeanor and meets ring design deadlines, Megan is the correct person to speak to. 🙂

We had poor experiences at not one but 2 other jewelry studios who had eye-catching designs but poor customer service. From long gaps in communication to an inability to source desired center stones, there were several issues.

However the experience was completely different at Marei New York. Everything was smooth. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by Megan’s professionalism and patience with our many questions. The ring is absolutely lovely and it was made in New York. My proposal was in New York. This city and this jeweler will always have a sentimental place in my heart. Thank you Megan and Angie!
